STS Division started out as Samyang Metal Industries, which began stainless steel cold rolling in 1962.
It later became the SBS Division of Taihan Electric Wire Co., Ltd. When POSCO AST was launched in 2009,
it became part of the POSCO Family, the best steel company in Korea. It exclusively handles POSCO products,
and we will place the utmost priority on satisfying customers and create values based on customers’ trust.

Precision Stainless Steel

As POSCO MOBILITY SOLUTION has the only wide precision equipment in Korea, it is producing 4 feet-wide ultra-thin precision rolling products.

Ultra-thin precision plate rolling and heat treatment process
Bright Annealed (BA) products, whose surface gloss is excellent, are produced by heat treatment at a Bright Annealing Line (BAL) after the precision rolling of cold rolled steel plate. As Rolled (AR) products with various levels of mechanical properties are produced with the uniformity of thickness and property required by customers.
